Deserts will not be deserts any more

The above picture could be how the Sahara desert might be in the next centuries with the help of I²T Technology.

From core samples carried out in the African Atlantic it was found that the sandy dust of the desert deposited by constant winds shows that no sandy remains existed before three million years before the present, this proves that the Saharan desert area did not exist before three million years ago and was previously a tropical forest area. The same marine cores demonstrate that around 11,700 years before the present the desert area experienced a period of fertility.

Water is the key to transforming one of the sunniest areas in the world into the largest cultivated plain in the world. We are developing a system able to convert salty sea water into fresh water and recover the salt, all in a 100% solar way without the use of membranes or expensive devices.
