It is a special nanostructured coating that generates an almost total reflection of infrared rays, preventing heat from passing through the glass. In addition, using the dual action of UV rays and water, photocatalysis activated by the sun’s UV rays breaks down dirt, rain streaks, clumps of dust and organic air pollution deposited on the glass surface. The hydrophilic effect means that previously broken down dirt and marks can be easily eliminated with the washing action of rainwater on the glass surface.
In the photo you can see how, while the glass is COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT to visible light, in the infrared it is completely opaque, not allowing the light emitted by the hand in the infrared (therefore its heat) to go beyond the glass.
The coating is available to mix with plaster, lime, concrete and also with acrylic primers. Results are outstanding in terms of insulation capabilities.
